Add Accessories [Mobile Apps]

Learn how to add product accessories and equipment to Elements from the System Surveyor Tablet app & Phone app.

It’s common for devices to have additional components such as mounting brackets for video surveillance cameras or faceplates for door hardware.
 
To add accessories:

  • Select an Element and tap the Pencil icon from the Element Toolbar.

   

    • This will open the Element Info panel.

   

  • If using the Tablet app:

    • Scroll to the Accessories tab and tap Add to create a new Accessory.  

     

  • If using the Phone app:
    • Tap the Pencil icon to enable editing in the Element Info.

    • Scroll to the Accessories tab and select it.
    • Tap Add.

  • Enter the description, and any additional information for the accessory.
  • When finished, tap OK.

   

Tip: Accessories can be saved to an element profile from the web, and users can quickly add those by using the search bar.
