Adjust the direction, angle and even depth of the Area of Coverage
Area of Coverage (AoC) is used to show coverage areas for cameras, motion detectors and other devices. Users can adjust the direction, angle and even depth of the Area of Coverage with touch and drag gestures.
The numeric depth and angle of the AoC is automatically calculated based upon the survey scale.
To adjust the Area of Coverage:
- Adjust the depth and direction using the cross-shaped arrows
- Adjust the angle using the wedge-shaped arrows
Tip: The AoC menu will automatically open when users place the Element on the Survey.
AoC menu options:
- Modify the color and transparency of the AoC
- Type in exact numbers for the Angle, or select from one of the pre-sets
- Set a specific depth
- When adjusting the coverage in complete, users can close the AoC menu by clicking ‘Done’ button
Tip: To completely remove the AoC from the Survey - click 'None' in the Area of Coverage window.
To add the AoC back into view - click 'Depth'
To reposition the camera after it is placed:
- Close the Area of Coverage menu
- Reposition the camera
- Click "Done" at the bottom of the AoC menu to move the camera to the desired location.
- To readjust the angle, click the icon and then click coverage.
