Boundaries (Area of Coverage Boundaries)

Boundaries allows users to visually show the precise area of coverage of a device.

Boundaries allows users to visually show the precise area of coverage of a device, such as a video surveillance camera or motion detector on a floor plan or map considering obstructions such as walls, poles or other limitations to the device’s reach.

There are two ways to access Boundaries:

1. Element Tool Bar
2. Drawing Tools

To add Boundaries using the Element Tool Bar:

• Click any Element on the Survey
• From the tool bar click the AoC button
  
• The main Tool Bar will open in the upper right corner
• Click the Boundaries button
  
• Drawing Tools will open to the left and Boundaries will already be selected.
• Begin drawing lines along any walls or objects
  
  

To add Boundaries from Drawing Tools:

• Click Drawing Tools from the left sidebar
  
• Select box “Area of Coverage Boundaries”
• Begin drawing lines along any walls or objects
