      Creating a Survey [Web Editor 2.0]

      Using System Surveyor Web Editor 2.0 easily import a PDF, image, or satellite picture as a floorplan for Surveys.

      There are 3 options when creating a Survey using System Surveyor Web Editor 2.0.

      1. Local Files
      2. Satellite Image
      3. Quick Start

      Create New Surveys

      Local Files:

      • Select the Local Files option
      • Users can select a single page or multiple page PDF, JPG or PNG file
      • Click next
      • Crop the image or rotate
      • Click next 
      • Set the scale and set the Element icon size
      • Name the Survey and add any other details
      • Click done

      TIP: Have a large Survey with multiple floors?  Select "Local Files" and import all at once by selecting the Surveys to include directly from the document.

       

      Satellite Image:

      • Enter the address in the top Search bar
      • A red pin will drop on the location
        • Zoom out or in depending on the image
      • Click next
      • Crop the image to the desired size
      • Click next
      • No need set the scale - Scale will be automatically set by Google Earth
      • Set the icon size
      • Name the Survey and add any other details
      • Click done

      Quick Start:

      Start with a blank floorplan (users can replace floorplan later)
