Pro-Tip: Maximize the Installation Status Feature
The Installation Status has many useful applications throughout the System Surveyor platform.
Updating Installation Status:
There are three ways to change the Installation Status for Elements on a Survey:
1. Select an Element and modify the Installation Status from the Element Toolbar that appears:
2. Open the Element Info panel by clicking the pencil icon from the toolbar, where you can update the status with the Installation Status dropdown:
3. Update Installation Status on multiple Elements at once with the Survey Data Export/Import feature:
a. Open the Survey Menu via the "three dots" in the upper right corner:
b. Click Export Data to Excel:
c. Open the Excel file and update the Installation Status column
d. Save file and import back into your Survey via "Import Data to Survey" option:
Filtering by Installation Status:
Filter the Elements on your Survey by Installation Status via the Filter button from the Survey Toolbar:
Using Installation Status in Reporting:
In the Elements report, an Installation Status column can be added to this report by clicking on the Columns button in the upper right corner:
Click the “+” sign to add the column and click OK to add it to your report:
The Layout Report can be filtered by Installation Status via the Filter button in the upper left corner:
If you are on the Scale plan or above, you can use the Layout Settings option to add a legend to the report, which can also be displayed by Installation Status:
Lastly, the Photo Tour report can also be filtered to display photos based on the Installation Status for the Elements they are associated with:
