Resolve Conflict [Mobile Apps]

Learn how to resolve a Conflict on your Survey from the Tablet app or Phone app.

If you have a survey saved to your device and there is a more recent edit from a different device (i.e. separate edits between the tablet app, phone app or web platform), you will see a Resolve Conflict button appear on the Survey upon attempting to sync.

   

After tapping the button, you will be prompted to choose which version of the survey you want to keep:

  • On This Device: The version of the Survey that was last edited on the device you are currently using.
  • On the Web: The version of the Survey that was last edited on any device other than the device you are currently using.

Note: The most recently modified version will display with a Most Recent tag.

   

To resolve the conflict:

  • Tap the checkbox next to the version you want to keep, then tap OK.
    • The Elements modified between the two versions will display in the Changes section.

   

  • Tap the Sync button at the top of the screen to sync the Survey.
