Sync Pending/Failure [Tablet App]

Quick troubleshooting steps for sync issues on the System Surveyor tablet app.

If you are not on the latest version of the app (v1.2.2), please update to the latest version from the app store before following the steps below. 

The first step is to check the sync queue to investigate if the sync issue is with a Site or a Survey. 

To check the Sync Queue: 

  • From the main workbench view 
  • Click the green Sync icon in the upper right 
  • A box will open with the sync queue status 
  • Start with any failures on Sites not syncing (see below) 
  • Then move to Survey sync issues (see below)

Site Sync:

If there is a Site or Sites that say failed to upload: 

Note: If the site was created on the app and has not synced successfully, no survey in that site will be able to sync.  

Survey Sync 

  • Go to the Survey 
  • Duplicate the Survey 
  • Make a small adjustment while editing Survey and save. 
  • If duplicate has all the required elements and photos, delete the original survey 
  • Log out of the app and then back in  
  • Attempt to sync the duplicate
