When walking a Site and doing a Survey, it is important to that all your survey data is synced successfully to the cloud.
Tip: Sync the sites you you prefer to work while on a secure network connection before leaving for a survey
To Sync Sites to work offline:
- Click the circle to enable syncing for Sites and Surveys within a Site.
Note: Only 25 Sites can be synced to a device at a time.
Syncing a Site will sync all surveys within a site. A sync will upload the latest changes on the tablet to the web and download any new survey changes from the web.
- Click the sync button in the top right hand corner to download the latest survey changes from the web and/or upload the survey changes to web from the tablet.
- The orange status badge indicates there are pending changes waited to be synced.
- Once the sync is complete the sync button will turn green and all surveys for that site will be synced to the tablet.
- The surveys within a site will indicate the last time they were synced.
- Users can then work on the surveys offline.
To Sync Surveys to the web:
- Once a survey is edited on the tablet the survey thumbnail will change "Pending Upload".
- To sync the changes to the web click Sync in the top right hand corner.
- All surveys that have pending changes will be synced between the tablet and the web
- Clicking 'Sync' includes all surveys within sites where "Sync Enabled" has been checked from the site list.
- If there are surveys on other sites that are "Pending Upload" then those changes will also be synced.
- This also includes syncing any new changes from surveys that were recently edited on the web.
